fcitx-anthy software package provides Fcitx wrapper for Anthy IM engine, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fcitx-anthy
fcitx-anthy is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fcitx-anthy package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fcitx-anthy *
You will get with fcitx-anthy package name, version, architecture and description in a table
